Chinese Martial Arts

Since ancient China, martial arts have been considered as important as Chinese classical literature, together with which are called the Double Treasures in Chinese Culture. The spirit of Chinese martial arts is to pursue both psychological and physical wellness. Psychological wellness refers to positive personality, while physical wellness healthy body. Influenced by ancient Chinese philosophy,traditional Chinese medicine and aesthetics, Chinese martial arts has its great unique methodology and forms of movement. It effects very well to improve teenagers’ figure development, persistence training and health maintenance.

Taichi

Originated from ancient Chinese philosophical canon Book of Changes, Taichi is a set of exercises designed according to human body structure and the rules of movements in nature. It is a quiet and peaceful activity during which the brain has balanced relaxation. In the meantime, Taichi can energize people’s mood and adjust the brain’s activity peak to help it get recovering. It is a great exercise for helping teenagers’ intellectual development,persistent energy build up, will power training and weight control. Taichi can also benefit all age group for their health condition since it increases body’s oxygen supply, improves its blood circulation and metabolism.
